Telugu and Tamil version of BiggBoss aired on Star India’s Regional GEC’s Star Maa and Star Vijay respectively has garnered appreciation from viewers and also opened up with Good numbers.

Mumbai: Bigg Boss, the ultimate reality show has done it again! After conquering audiences, in Hindi, Kannada and Bangla, the show has emerged a winner in the Telugu and Tamil markets as well. Endemol Shine India’s Tamil and Telugu versions of Bigg Boss that recently launched on Star Vijay and Star Maa respectively are already rocking the ratings charts.

Bigg Boss Tamil and Telugu Hosted by Kamala Hassan and Jr NTR respectively, have been produced on a grand scale and both shows have been well received and have garnered a lot of viewer appreciation. Endemol Shine India’s Telugu version of Bigg Boss had a remarkable opening with launch ratings of 16.2 TVR (Source: BARC, Market: AP/TS, TG: 15+ Urban, Week 29); with the first 3 weeks of the telecast garnering brilliant ratings averaging 9.7 TVR (Source: BARC, Market: AP/TS, TG: 15+ Urban, Week 29-Week 31), making it the #1 Non-Scripted show in Telugu language by a huge margin. Bigg Boss Tamil too has been a huge success (the show has already touched a peak of 12.1 TVR); the show continues to scale new heights with exceptional ratings averaging 8.4 TVR over the past 6 weeks (Source: BARC, Market: TN/Pondicherry, TG: AA 15+ Urban Week 26-Week 31)

Moreover, BiggBoss Tamil has brought in newer audience from other mediums to sample BiggBoss Tamil on Television that has driven the channel GRP of Star Vijay to historic new heights.

Endemol Shine India is gearing up for the launch of new season of BiggBoss Kannada this time on Colors Super, the second Kannada GEC of Viacom18 and it is likely to go on-air from September 2017.
